Torn veneer and breakout edges are the most common quality complaint on a wooden door line. The DXW Series scoring saw wood door cutting machine solves this with a mother-child saw configuration: a small scoring blade first scores the decorative surface, then the main blade completes the cut. Because the surface layer is pre-cut, the fibers no longer rip as the main saw exits. The result is a clean, smooth edge on solid wood, veneered and laminated doors without extra sanding or rework.

Wherever visible edges or decorative surfaces must survive the cut, this scoring saw wood door cutting machine is the right choice for the final trim operation.
Why does a scoring saw prevent chipping?
The scoring blade cuts a shallow groove through the surface layer before the main blade passes, so the decorative veneer is already separated when the main cut begins. This stops the tearing and breakout that a single blade would cause.
Does the operator need to set the scoring blade by hand?
No. The control system references the scoring saw to the main saw automatically, so both stay on one line without manual adjustment when the blade wears or a new blade is fitted.
Is rework needed after cutting?
For most solid wood and veneered doors the edge is clean enough for direct edge banding or assembly, so the rework and sanding that manual saws require are largely eliminated.
Can it cut laminated door skins?
Yes. The pre-scoring action is especially effective on melamine, PVC and veneer surfaces where surface tear-out is most likely.
Packaging and Quality AssuranceThe scoring saw door cutting machine is packed in a fumigated wooden case with the saw spindles and scoring unit protected by custom bracing. Blades, servo motors and the PLC are wrapped against moisture. We supply spare saw blades and a commissioning guide, and our engineers support installation remotely or on site.
